WAITING LIST
Unfortunately, when enrollment reaches full capacity, new applicants
will be placed on a waiting list. We ask that you reserve a place for
your child by leaving your name, your phone number, your child's name,
and your child's date of birth. Additionally, priority is given to
siblings of children already enrolled at Kids' Kingdom. The offer of
placement may also be affected by the number of days or hours you may
need for your child
DEPOSIT
Positions in child care are considered "open" unless a non-refundable
deposit equivalent to 1 week of care is paid. This will hold your
child’s spot for a period of 2 weeks upon the availability of an open
spot. When you choose to place your child in our care, we will reserve
the spot for you as soon as, but not before, all complete paperwork is
returned to along with the $35.00 registration fee as well as $55.00 per
each additional week that you wish to hold for your child. A maximum of
four weeks can be held at this rate. Beginning the fifth week you will
be required to pay the full weekly tuition by noon each Friday prior to
the week of intended care. Late payment policies will apply to accounts
not received as described above. All fees/tuition paid is nonrefundable
and non-transferable even if other childcare arrangements are found
elsewhere.
The 1 week deposit will be applied to your last week of care if the
required two week termination notice is given. If any rate changes have
been made from the time your child starts, the difference will be added
on and due the last day of care. If care is terminated without two weeks
written notice, the deposit will be forfeited and payment equal to 2
weeks of care will still be required.
*An exception will be made for newborn care; an available spot will be
held for up to 6 weeks after the birth of the child with a one time fee
of $200. Registration fees will still apply.
REGISTRATION FEE
When you enroll at Kids’ Kingdom Family Child Care, there is an initial
non-refundable $35 registration fee and is payable each year thereafter
in the first week of August. (For additional siblings in the same family
only, a $10.00 fee per child is added.) If you should enroll your child
after May 1st, you would not be required to re-enroll or remit any
additional re-registration fee until the following year. If you should
end your enrollment for a period of over three months and want to
re-enroll, a re-enrollment fee of $35.00 will be required.
SIBLING DISCOUNT
When children from the same family are all enrolled in our full time
programs only, a 10% discount is given. This discount is applied to the
combined tuitions.
PAYMENT
Your child’s tuition rate will be listed on your contract and rate
agreement. Payments are made in advance for the coming week and are due
in full, including all accrued fees on or before Thursday mornings at
the time your child is dropped off. If Thursday falls on a holiday,
payment is expected on the last workday prior. A $10.00 per day late fee
will be charged for any payment received after 6 p.m. Thursday prior to
the week of service..
If full payment, plus accrued late fees, are not received by drop off
time on the first day of your child's attendance for the week that
payment is to be applied, your child shall be denied attendance until
all payments and late fees are paid in full. If all payments and late
fees are not paid in full by the next payments due date, the provider
must assume that you have terminated your contract prematurely, and
without notice. If a contract is terminated in this manner, you shall be
required to pay in full, all outstanding payments and late fees, plus an
additional two weeks of payments to account for failure to give 2 weeks
notice of contract termination on your part, as well as any and all
legal fees required to obtain said payments and fees.
Please place all payments in the locked tuition box located in the front
foyer. Kids' Kingdom will issue a Year End Statement to assist you in
your record keeping. If at any time the provider decides to change
rates, the parents will receive a one month advance notice of all rate
changes. At this time, the parents can choose to continue enrollment or
give the provider a 2 week withdrawal notice.
LATE PAYMENTS/ABSENSES
*A $10.00 per day late fee will be charged for any payment received
after 6p.m. Thursday prior to the week of service.
*There is a $35.00 charge on all returned checks, in addition to any
fees incurred. If 2 or more checks are returned in a year's time, cash
or money orders will then be required.
*Each child will be given 3 contracted weeks of 1/2 rate tuition
(vacation) to be used during times of illness, holidays, closings, etc.
For example, if your child attends 3 days per week, you would receive a
total of 9 days at half rate (3days/week X 3weeks), 4 days per week= 12
days at half rate, and so on. A written notice must be given in order
for Kids' Kingdom to apply this rate to your child's weekly tuition.
When using vacation days, you will be credited on the following week's
tuition unless given at least 2 week's written notice in advance of the
scheduled absence.
Your child may not attend daycare during vacation days. Vacation days
must be taken as full days. These vacation days can be taken any time
after one month of enrollment. Vacation days do not accrue, meaning that
if you choose not to use the vacation days during the year, they will
not carry over to the next year. If you have already used your vacation
and you are taking any additional days off from daycare, during which
time your child is not in attendance, you are still required to pay full
tuition as if your child were attending. The normal payment rules are in
effect as detailed above. The vacation days may not be applied to any
outstanding debts you may owe, such as late pick-ups, late payment fees,
etc. A record in your folder of when you take your vacations.
TERMINATION OF ENROLLMENT
A written 2 week notice is required should the time come to end your
child's enrollment at Kids' Kingdom Family Child Care. In your letter,
please indicate the last day and date your child will be attending,
along with the reason.
IF YOUR SITUATION IS SUCH THAT A TWO WEEK WRITTEN NOTICE IS NOT
POSSIBLE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMITTING TWO WEEKS TUITION IN LIEU OF
NOTICE.
In the event that it is necessary to end our agreement, Kids' Kingdom
will also give the parent at least two weeks written notice. Kids'
Kingdom reserves the right to suspend or end enrollment of a child for
any of the following reasons:
1. Consistently late tuition payments.
2. Parent's refusal tom communicate or comply with stated policies.
3. Behavior of child or family which is harmful to the physical or
emotional well-being of the other children, themselves and/or staff.
4. Inability of the child to adjust to the program or of Kids' Kingdom’s
ability to meet the needs of the child.
5. Inability of Kids' Kingdom's policies to meet/satisfy the needs of
the parent.
In the case of immediate termination due to, but not limited to:
destructive, uncontrollable or violent behaviors, habitual lateness in
pick up of child(ren),and/or lateness of payment or nonpayment, deposit
will not be refunded. If it becomes necessary to resort to legal action
in order to collect fees, the parent/legal guardian(s) will be
responsible for any legal fees incurred by Kids' Kingdom Family Child
Care.
TRIAL PERIOD
In trying to make the best match between provider and family, the first
2 weeks of care will be deemed as a trial period for all involved.
During this time, the parent or provider may terminate the child care
agreement with 24 hours notice without being subject to additional fees
for termination of enrollment. After the trial period, a two-week's
written notice is required by either party to terminate the agreement
and any fees/charges will be made accordingly.
