ABOUT MY PROGRAM

Kids' Kingdom Family Child Care offers quality loving care balanced with educational learning experiences for children 6 weeks-12 years.  My home is set up to provide stimulating and fun activities that help develop social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.

Each day at Kids' Kingdom children can be found imitating and acting out roles in Dramatic Play; creating masterpieces in Art Center; gaining valuable technology skills in Computer Center; questioning and exploring the world around them in Science & Math Centers, developing an appreciation for literature in Library Area; practicing pre-reading skills in Writing Center; dancing to the sound of their own drum in Music & Listening Centers; learning spatial awareness and pre-math skills in Block Center; engaged in puzzles and games requiring logical thinking at Table Toys- and all this before lunch!

My planned themes, lessons, and centers are influenced by "The Creative Curriculum", a widely recognized program amongst educational professionals.  The Creative Curriculum balances both teacher/provider-directed and child-initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to children's learning styles and building on their strengths and interests.

My goal is to provide a creative fun learning environment in a nurturing home setting, peace of mind for parents, and flexibility for your child and family.
