TOILET TRAINING
Learning to use the toilet facilities is an important developmental
stage and major accomplishment for young children. However, it is our
philosophy that it should not be rushed or forced upon the child.
Therefore, when your child shows readiness (indicates need to use the
bathroom, is interested in staying dry, is dry for long periods of the
day or through naptime, etc), please discuss the procedure you would
like us to follow regarding
your child’s training. We’ll also communicate to you any readiness that
we may notice. No child shall ever be punished, physically or verbally
abused, humiliated or withheld food for soiling themselves. Please
remember that potty training is most successful when there is
consistency in efforts and methods both at home and school.
